A juried, theme exhibition
open to all artists in all media.
We seek a broad range of creative, inspiring, and original interpretations on the theme of “Nature & the City.” Artists in all media are invited to explore the varied meanings, expressions and combinations of “nature,” which includes multi-media interpretation of that which is natural and “the city,” which includes interpretation of all that is urban.

A champagne and chocolate opening reception will be held on Sunday, April 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. Admission to the exhibit will be free and open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. daily and during special events throughout the show.
- Artists are welcome to sell their works; a 30% commission will be charged. Sold pieces must remain hung until the show ends.
- Works accepted for the show must be brought to Goddard House on Monday, April16, unless other arrangements are made.
- The exhibit will be taken down on Monday, May 21; artists must pick up their unsold works on that day, or make other arrangements.
Submission Deadline: Monday, February 20, 2012
Submission Requirements: Images of up to three works may be submitted for consideration. An entry fee of $15 per artist will assist us in offsetting art show expenses. Please complete the submission form and submit it along with images on slides or compact disks (Jpeg files) to Margaret Naylor, Goddard/Homestead, 1199 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603. Images in Jpeg files may also be emailed to mpn@goddardhomestead.org. Submission form and donation should then be mailed separately. Artists will be notified by email by March 8, if their piece(s) has been accepted.
Art Boutique: A juried art boutique will also be held during the duration of the show. We seek a variety of art items, including prints, photographs, reproductions, note cards, pottery, scarves, magnets, jewelry, etc. Items will be sold on consignment with Goddard House taking a 40% commission. Prices will be determined by the individual artists. Only priced works, including an itemized list of all submitted pieces, will be considered for submission. Items to be considered for the boutique should be brought to Goddard House on Monday, April 16 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Thursday, April 19 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Please indicate on the submission form if you intend to bring in boutique items for consideration.
